I know I’m a bit late to my own party, but it’s been pointed out a few times that I should have something: a YouTube channel, blog, website. A way to track the repairs and stuff that I do for both my own purposes and as a benefit to those who find it interesting.
Enter SaberTech. I came up with the name and idea that I’d finally do just that about a month ago, and got the basics set up. I figured since I primarily work on older and vintage electronics, I needed something that sounded both positively extinct and very metal. And something that doesn’t actively violate existing copyrights or trademarks.
I don’t often catch lightning in a bottle (my right index finger is the primary conduit for touching electrically charged items after all). I envision this being a bit of a mixed format blog; some writing, some coding, YouTube repair videos. Enjoy your stay.

Great job đź‘Ź…. Excellent
Thank you Srinivas! Show it to Sunil and your friends in India!
I like your blog man! Hope to see more projects here, especially related to arcades & classic consoles. Recently recapped & rescued my nice set-top DVDR, but nothing really fascinating about that. Might try to get some advice from you on my NES arkanoid controller rebuild if I ever get a chance to work on it again.
Well, just thought I’d see how you’re doing, hope all is well with you!

Thanks Matt! The Arkanoid controller is getting harder to come by, definitely worth fixing up. It’s probably a bit similar to the Atari 2600 paddle controllers — I have a set of those I need to fix.
My workbench time is on hold for the moment though, Michelle and I moved to Austin, TX recently and are settling in. Hope things are going well with you!
