As a follow-up to my previous post regarding the Takamine AAP repair, I’ve created a YouTube video. When I first began repairing these, I hadn’t yet started filming my process. I put up a post on the Takamine Guitars Facebook group asking for some to repair so I could film. Of course, it worked!
I filmed this in January but hadn’t gotten around to quick-editing it yet. kdenlive, which is a FLOSS video editing software from the good folks at the KDE project, is coming a bit easier to me now. It reminds me a bit of Final Cut Pro, and for my amateur level videos it’s more than adequate. Soon, I’d like to get different mount for the GoPro so I can show different angles.
kdenlive is also available as a Windows application if anybody wants to give it a go — it’s free to download after all. I’m also including the links to the repair document here again, for convenience:

If you are repairing the AccurAcoustic EQ, I have one I’d like to send you. Can you give me an approximate cost on it? I put a fresh battery in it and nothing. I’ve recently taken the guitar out and began to play it again and discovered the non-working electronics. They may never have worked since I bought it 8 or 9 years ago. It looks like someone has attempted repair to it.
